Specialists in load testing of columns in photovoltaic plants.

Over the past 10 years, GMS Internacional has specialised in carrying out surveys for photovoltaic plants all over the world.  One of the most common tests for these types of projects is the pole load test  or  «pull-out test». These tests are intended to determine if the desired type of profile (or pole) is capable of withstanding wind loads at a certain driving depth and for certain deformation tolerances. At least two types of profile are typically tested at two or three driving depths to verify design loads.

GMS Internacional adapts each project to the client’s specifications in rigorous compliance with the technical requirements of the test.

We have our own equipment for carrying out this type of test, ranging from precision dynamometers for both traction and compression testing, digital and analogue gauges which are accurate to a hundredth of a millimetre, to laser meters, among others.

Our teams are selected to  be able to carry out tests in the most challenging of circumstances, due to the actual location of projects, which can often be in extremely remote areas with a scarce available resources.

Given that each project is unique, our team of specialists must be able to build tools and protective components or fastening components in the field by using a variety of techniques such as welding, cutting, or other similar techniques.
