Description: The project consisted of conducting 10 mechanical trial pits, 10 driving and Pull-Out tests and taking samples for laboratory analysis. The geotechnical survey determined that the soil of the study plot had sufficient bearing capacity to withstand the supporting pressure of the loads. But, on the other hand, due to the presence of sulphates in the upper soil stratigraphy, it was determined that the steel piles could be subject to a certain degree of corrosion during their useful life; therefore, it was advised to use coating on the metal profiles.
